Let "Cuenca Eats" be your guide
If you’re new to Cuenca this book is a must read to some of the best dining in this fabulous city. I have shared these recommendations with several Cuencano friends and family members and some added to their culinary destinations. Read it, try a few, I’m betting you’ll like them. I did !!
Must have Cuenca guide
A great guide for anyone interested in the culinary experience in Cuenca! I appreciate all the restaurant picks and cultural lessons in this book. Will be ordering a second copy for my kids for their upcoming trip to Cuenca!
A Practical and Profound Look at Cuenca and its Food
This is far more than a food guide; it’s a celebration of Ecuadorian cuisine, culture, and tradition. The photos are beautiful and the author’s eaterie reviews are inspiring, but reading about how the food of Cuenca has shaped the author’s relationships—with his wife, their friends, the people of his new land, and with that land itself—was my favorite part.
While this book is a MUST for anyone living in Cuenca, those with a general interest in food or Latin America will find much to love here.

What a fantastic book! So many of these same foods and stories can be found throughout Ecuador. From stories about meeting people to learning Spanish phrases that will help you order your food, this book is great! Highly recommend it!
